I thought I would share this as this is a really special album and it belongs in everyone’s arsenal of records. In my opinion, this is Colin Hay’s best album. The limited-edition white vinyl is on the first 1000 units.
I got a chance to meet him after a show a couple of years ago in Minneapolis and I asked him if he was going to ever put Going Somewhere on vinyl. He said, “he would think about it.” Roughly two years later he did. So, I was so happy to see this on vinyl.
I haven’t yet listened to see if this is an audiophile pressing but the music is fantastic and keeps you emersed. This flies under the radar of most people and doesn’t get the love it truly deserves.
